Launch of the GenZ Anthem Vote Pattu

A vibrant celebration of youth, creativity, and democratic participation unfolded at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi, with the grand launch of the GenZ Anthem – Vote Pattu.

Organised as a landmark initiative by the District Administration, Ernakulam, under the SVEEP mission, the programme aimed to inspire voter awareness and active participation through the power of music and creativity. The event was inaugurated by G. Priyanka, District Collector & DEO, Ernakulam, who also led the SVEEP Pledge. Key addresses were delivered by Parvathy Gopakumar, while Rathan U. Kelkar shared his message via video. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. J. Letha, Pro-Vice Chancellor.

The anthem was brought to life by popular Malayalam actors Tiny Tom and Kailas, along with producer Joly Joseph. The stage was energized by electrifying performances from Thirumali, playback singer Sianora, Anand, and emerging rapper SDee, transforming the message of civic responsibility into an engaging cultural experience.

The event also marked the launch of the Gen Z Anthem Reel Challenge 2026, encouraging students to showcase their creativity through 30-second reels and inspire their peers to participate in the democratic process.
