Pillot Project To Produce Products From Water Hyacinth

A significant step toward sustainable livelihoods was marked as JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Kochi, in collaboration with Marine Products Export Development Authority and NETFISH, launched a pilot project to train fishermen in creating value-added products from water hyacinth. The initiative was inaugurated by Amb (Rtd.) Prof Venu Rajamony and witnessed the presence of key officials and community members, promoting circular economy practices and women-led entrepreneurship.
